RSSFWD goes belly up

The developers of RSSFWD have pulled up their tent stakes and moved on.
The service is no longer in operation. Sadly, even though love may make the world go ’round, money greases the wheel. And RSSFWD developers weren’t generating any money on a free service, and they were just overwhelmed.
In their farewell post on their site, no one offered to contribute to the service, or to donate server space. There were no replies at all. The lesson here: It costs money to give something out free .. so support your favorite free program, or it could be gone, like RSSFWD.
And people wonder why there aren’t more free RSS programs.
